Marbella Feria Programme 2018

This year’s Marbella Feria will take place in and around the town – in the Parque de Alameda and the Avenida del Mar. The night Feria will once again take place in the area next to the La Cañada shopping centre. Fase III and the concerts and shows will be at the auditorium there.

Tuesday June 5

22.00 Opening ceremony in the Parque Francisco Cuevas Blanco (the terraces above the Puerto Deportivo) as follows:

D. Concha Montes will read the proclamation of the Feria y Fiestas de San Bernabé 2018.

The coronation of the Queens, the children and the young ladies (damas), this year’s Miss Congeniality and the ladies of the Feria y Fiestas de San Bernabé 2018. Election of the “Reina Popular” from the ladies who stand out for their grace and sympathy.

23.00 Fireworks on the Playa del Faro.

Wednesday June 6

The Day Feria takes place in the Parque Alameda and Avenida del Mar. The main stage, where most of the dancing will take place, is in Calle Juan Ruiz – to the left of the Avenida del Mar.

13.00 Inauguration of the Day Feria in the Parque Alameda by the arch next to the Fuente Virgen del Rocío. Starting with the presentation of the plaque that gives its name to this arch. 

16.00 – 19.00 Performances by the Dance Academies on the stage in the Calle Juan Ruiz with the participation of the following: Paquita Jesus Dance Academy, Rocio Gomez Dance Academy, Maribel Urban Dance Academy.

The Evening Feria takes place at the fairground next to the La Cañada shopping centre from 5 – 11 June from 19.00. Dance and music attractions for everyone to enjoy from 19.00 – midnight.

19.00 Children’s Party (free admission) in the Auditorio del Recinto Ferial La Cañada, phase III with activities for the younger children: A park with inflatable castles, jumping, ziplines and many surprises. Cake (gluten free) and free soft drinks for all the children attending. 

19.00 – 00.00 Children’s Day, with reduced prices on the fairground rides.

Thursday June 7

The Day Feria takes place in the Parque Alameda and Avenida del Mar. The main stage, where most of the dancing will take place, is in Calle Juan Ruiz – to the left of the Avenida del Mar.

13.00 Opening of the bars in the Parque Alameda and the Avenida del Mar with their own entertainment.

16.00 – 19.00 Performances by Dance Academies on the stage with the participation of the following: Rocio Guerrero Dance Academy, Sandra Vazquez Dance Academy, Loli Ropero Dance Academy.

The Evening Feria takes place at the fairground next to the La Cañada shopping centre from 5 – 11 June from 19.00. Dance and music attractions for everyone to enjoy from 19.00 – midnight.

19.00 Opening of the night fair and the fairground attractions.

Friday June 8

20.00 Neon Festival with ‘light bracelets’, fluorescent paint boats, light bars and more.

Sunday June 10

9.45 Historical recreation of the entry to Marbella of King Fernando: Starting from Calle Salinas. The march of the King on horseback accompanied by his entourage heading to Calle Trinidad.

10.30 Re-creation of the keys being delivered to the city and arrival to Plaza de la Iglesia (in the Old Town).

11.00 Departure of the King with entourage from Calle Carmen, Calle General Chinchilla, Plaza de los Naranjos, Chapel Santiago.

11.50 The King will arrive on the balcony of the Town Hall alongside the mayor the city’s banner and the national anthem will then be played.

12.00 Bells chime and rockets (cohetes) will be launched during the national anthem. The banner will be placed on the balcony of the Town Hall. This will be followed by the Parade of the Giant Heads: Plaza de la Victoria, Calle Estación, Plaza de los Naranjos, Calle Nueva, Calle Gloria, Calle Francisco Echamendi, Plaza José Palomo, Calle Enrique del Castillo, Avenida Ramón Cajal, Paseo de la Alameda, Avenida Ramón y Cajal, Calle Pedraza, ending in Plaza de la Victoria.

Monday June 11

10.00 Procession accompanied by the Municipal Music Band. Leaves the Town Hall (Ayuntamiento), Plaza de los Naranjos, Plaza Gral. Chinchilla, Calle Carmen, Plaza de la Iglesia, Calle Caridad, Calle Misericordia, Plaza Altamirano, Plaza Puente de Málaga, Calle Málaga, ending at the Iglesia de la Encarnación.

11.00 Solemn Mass in the Encarnacion Church.

Procession in honour of Marbella’s Patron Saint San Bernabé Leaves the church de la Encarnación, Plaza de la Iglesia, Calle Trinidad, Calle Salinas, Calle Arte, Calle Ntro. Padre Jesús Nazareno, Avenida Nabeul, Calle Marques de Najera, Plaza Practicante Manuel Cantos, Calle Tetuán, Avenida Ramón y Cajal, Calle Huerta Chica, Plaza de la Victoria, Calle Estación, Plaza de Los Naranjos, Plaza General Chinchilla, Calle Carmen.

Mobility and Transport Plan

Transport service for the transfer of citizens and visitors, from different points of our city to the Fairground at night (La Cañada Phase III).

BUSES (9 stops spread around our city to the stop located in the Fairground at night).
Hours: from June 5 to 11, it will be from 6:00 pm to 3:00 am, except in the following cases:
• Special service Wednesday, June 6 from 5:00 pm to 3:00 am.
• Special night service for Friday 8, Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 June.
These days will have a bus service that will extend the completion of your trip until 06.00.

Shell Gas Station (Bus Station), Cánovas del Castillo Avenue (El Cenit Urb.), Ricardo Soriano Avenue (Piruli),

• Fairground at night.
Schedule: this service called TRENECITO will be from 6:00 pm to 03:00 am,
except on Wednesday, June 6, which will be from 5:00 to 3:00.

TAXI STOP A taxi stand will be installed in the Fairground at night
