Talk Radio Europe Telethon for Cudeca 2016
Talk Radio Europe’s Telethon for Cudeca will be held this year on 25 November from 10.00 to 19.00 on radio channels 91.5 FM Costa del Sol East and 91.9 FM Costa del Sol West.
Talk Radio Europe has regularly hosted telethons raising € thousands for Cudeca.
Cudeca was established in 1992 and offers an out-patients unit and a hospice centre for palliative care to patients suffering from cancer and other advanced or terminal diseases along with support and advice to their families and carers. In 2015, the telethon raised more than €50,000. This year, with your help, they hope to double that figure. TRE will be broadcasting the telethon live and will be joined by some very special guests on the day.
Businesses in the area have always been very supportive, donating items to be auctioned during the telethon. TRE are once again asking for your support. So, if you have any suitable items or products to donate or hold any events to raise money, you will find contact details for TRE at the bottom of this post.
You can of course organize your own event to raise money. The number of ideas are endless. You can arrange a coffee morning and get everyone to pay for a delicious treat as well as having fun. You can hold a quiz in your local bar and donate the entrance money. You could also obtain sponsorship by getting involved in a run, a walk, a cycle ride or some other activity. TRE will also award a prize to the school which comes up with the most innovative fundraising idea. So, on with your thinking caps all you students out there.
Marbella’s residents and visitors have always risen to the occasion to support charity events and we hope this year’s event will be no exception. So, come on Marbella …
When you contact TRE with details of how you plan to raise the money, you will be given a team number. All listeners and visitors to the website will be updated regularly with your progress.
