Marbella Beach Guide
The Marbella coastline covers a distance of approximately 27 kilometres from Guadalmina in the west to Cabopino in the east.
Marbella´s beaches are very popular during the summer months and there are many beach bars (chiringuitos) and restaurants and the usual amenities including showers and rest rooms. There are usually lifeguards on duty during the summer months and most of the beaches have non-emergency medical facilities. Most have parasols and sun loungers to rent, along with watersports. There are always areas where you can take your own chairs and parasols if you want to.
We have listed some of the more popular beaches in three areas – West Marbella, Central Marbella and East Marbella – see our guide to Marbella beaches.
If you spot a blue flag on a beach, it means the beach has received an award for meeting the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) standards. This means you are on a clean, well maintained beach and that it is checked on a regular basis.
