Aspandem is an association for people with disabilities living on the Costa del Sol.

Aspandem’s mission is to standardize the living conditions of people with disabilities, regardless of type, affectation or age and also having desires, self-determination and aspirations of the same. All these aims are included in the association’s statutes.
Aspandem aims, through its centres and services, to offer individualized attention to people with disabilities and their families:
- Detection, assessment, orientation and follow-up.
- Medical psychological social care.
- Centres and services for the promotion of autonomous life.
- Centres and services whose ultimate goal is job training and the promotion of people with disabilities to employment.
- Residence for severely affected persons and adult residence.
Services intended to serve as a substitute home, temporarily or permanently, to persons who, due to their degree of disability, coupled with their socio-familial and economic problems, have difficulties to be cared for in their coexistence unit or can not live independently. And also offer them well-being, privacy, security and personal autonomy.
A special education centre with the Ministry of Education: There are four units for the special basic training and a social guarantee program branch operator of gardens. It is attended by students between the ages of three and twenty-one.
A Daytime Centre: Dedicated to the specific and comprehensive care of people in a situation of dependence that, because of their disability, cannot be integrated, temporarily or permanently in their special or standardized work environment or because of their seriousness, require continued care, cannot be attended by their unit of coexistence during the day.Marbella, Aspandem, Social Care
