La Sala in the Sky in Puerto Banús

The La Sala Group has teamed up with famed local chef Aitor Perurena to bring a new concept to Marbella – the ultimate social and dining experience 50 metres above the ground!

This is a unique concept meant for anyone who wishes to transform an ordinary meal into a magical moment that will leave a lasting impression. This floating restaurant will be the highest view point of Marbella, offering 360 degrees views whilst enjoying a gastronomic experience and champagne.

It is a high flying platform that takes 22 guests to a viewing height of up to 50 metres. The guests are comfortably strapped into a leather seat that is secured to a dining table. The unique seating area is connected to a crane which then performs the lift. The center of the dining table has a walking platform that accommodates Aitor’s professional team and La Sala’s skilled serving staff to provide you with a delectable 5 course degustation menu with pairing wines and champagnes. This unique experience is perfect for a romantic treat, a memorable night with friends or even a corporate event.

The stunning platform has been provided by Dinner in the Sky. This Belgian-based company has created more than 5,000 dinner events in 40 cities around the world. Iconic locations have included the Kuala Lumpur Tower, the Marina of Dubai, Villa Borghese in Rome, Athens, Copacabana Beach and Cape Town. Forbes magazine has named it one of the world’s most extravagant meals.

A little about Aitor Perurena

His artistic and exquisite cuisine is a well-known pleasure in Marbella. Born and raised in a village near San Sebastian, this Basque Chef was shaped by the values of creativity and professionalism. These skills have passed through many different successful kitchens, including creating his own culinary school called Estudio Gastronomico with his wife; and later, his highly appraised restaurant named 1870.
