Eat at Da Bruno sul Mare and help the victims of Amatrice
Da Bruno sul Mare ask for your help on 24 September, when dining in their restaurant all monies raised will go to the Marbella AMAtrice fund.
The 24th of September is a month after the earthquake that shook the ground in central Italy resulting in hundreds of fatalities and so many wounded. The death toll reaches 300 and more than 2,500 people have been left homeless.
The quake struck with a magnitude 6 on the Richter scale and the epicenter was between the towns of Amatrice and Accumoli. The devistation is overwhelming Amatrice is unrecognizable and its heritage destroyed.
This led to the Da Bruno Group devising a charity Marbella AMAtrice to show solidarity with the Italian people. All the proceeds raised by the group will go entirely to the victims of this disaster, helping the affected areas to recover in some way as soon as possible.
This is a small gesture but one which will help both the town and others to rehabilitate homes, schools and other public spaces. The money raised will be sent to the Italian Embassy in Spain and then passed through the Italian government to help these families.
Bruno Filippone said ” we appreciate the participation of the city council of Marbella and the Italian consulate in joining with us in this action and hope that on 24 September Marbella will be supportive and involved in joining us.”
