A Cuatro Manos 2016 – four days of gastronomic excellence

The dates for this year’s “A Cuatro Manos” are from 18 -21 April at Dani Garcia’s restaurant in the Hotel Puente Romano in Marbella.

Last year’s “A Cuatro Manos” boasted chefs with 20 Michelin stars. This year, the elite of the world’s chefs will be joining Dani Garcia and chefs with 71 Michelin stars will be in attendance.

Ferran Adrià (elBulli Foundation), who changed his schedule to ensure he didn’t miss this event, Joan Roca (El Celler de Can Roca), Paco Pérez (Miramar), Quique Dacosta (QD Restaurante), Ángel León (Aponiente), Ramón Freixa (Ramón Freixa Madrid), Albert Adrià (Tickets), Andoni Luis Aduriz (Mugaritz), Paco Roncero (La Terraza del Casino), Francis Paniego (Echaurren), Toño Pérez (Atrio), Ricard Camarena (Ricard Camarena Restaurant), Josean Alija (Nerua), Marcos Morán (Casa Gerardo), Paco Morales (Noor), Rodrigo de la Calle (El Invernadero) and Daniel Humm (Eleven Madison Park, Nueva York) are just some of the chefs planning to be there..

This year the first day is a tribute to Joël Robuchon, the chef who has the highest number of Michelin stars in the world. He has received the highest recognitions for his 11 restaurants across the globe and he has succeeded in maintaining the highest levels of gastronomic quality in all his venues. On this very special night Dani Garcia and friends will pay tribute by reinterpretting  Joël Robuchon’s best dishes the menu will consist of 20 dishes.

On 19 April, the evening is entitled “Unplugged Night” with Dani García from Dani García Restaurante, Ángel León from Aponiete and Paco Morales from Noor Restaurant completely unplugged from any techniques created after 1995.

On 20 April the evening is entitled “International Night” with Dani García from Dani García Restaurante and Daniel Humm from Eleven Madison Park. The prestigious Swiss chef Daniel Humm and Dani García will cook in tandem. They will prepare a gala menu where Andalucian sentiment will merge with New York’s knowhow and the flavours of northern Europe.

21 April is the last dinner of the “A Cuatro Manos 2016” edition. Sebastian Frank, the renowned owner of Horváth restaurant (Berlin) will accompany Dani García. Through his dishes, the German chef will demonstrate the passion he feels for product, in a pairing with Dani García’s technique and innovation.
