Everything you need to know about Marbella

Visiting Marbella?

Marbella is widely regarded as the Costa del Sol´s jewel in the crown. It has been the pre-eminent holiday destination in southern Spain since the 1960s, offering a unique combination of modern style and old world Spanish charm.

Marbella´s climate is legendary, with approximately 320 days of sunshine each year. Some of the best Spanish holiday beaches on the Costa del Sol can be found in the Marbella area, so all you have to do is find a suitable spot, rent a sunbed and soak up the sun. On most of the beaches, you will find friendly chiringuitos (beach restaurants) offering a wide range of refreshments and tasty snacks. Alternatively, you can take a long leisurely stroll along the amazing Marbella paseo marítimo (promenade) or Visit Puerto Banús for a spot of people watching.

A visit to Marbella old town is an absolute must. The narrow streets, historic buildings, shops, boutiques and art galleries make it an extremely rewarding experience. The famous Plaza de los Naranjos (Orange Tree Square) in particular, with its orange trees, exotic plants, cafés and restaurants provides a special atmosphere you will never forget.

And Marbella is of course famous for its nightlife, with a wide range of night clubs, restaurants and bars to suit all tastes.
